Again from "The clockwork people" for the PopGun Vol2. anthology from Image.
It's a 10 pages story, so it can't hurt to show one or two pages, I think.

this is page 6., entirely done in Mangastudio

Again I'm working together with my 2 "wavewalkers" mates. Yann [link] has done the script and Sven

is doing the colors.

It's JUST the right amount of details and so! Not too much so it would get too messy, but enough, so it'll be really detailed and look great! You're also drawing the different materials really well!

but you said a 10 page story.. you're not gonna use those fantastic characters more than that?

ha ha.. yea, who knows.. I'm just working on a.. well, this first (comic) book's over 150 pages.. and the plot already continues in my head..

Rein garnichts gegen Svens wirklich fantastische Coloration, aber diese Seite rockt einen auch ohne Farbe gänzlich von den Socken.
Ich frage mich, was du auf deinem Gebiet noch verbessern willst. Es ist für mich echt perfekt

Brauch mir nur die Seiten von besseren Comiczeichnern angucken, dann weiss ichs schon.

Aber vielen Dank- das geht natürlich runter wie nix!!

Ist auch das erste Mal seit langem, dass ich wieder versucht habe, Seiten in nem Stil zu zeichnen, der auch ohne col was hermacht.

Mir fällt nichts ein, was in dieser Stilrichtung besser sein soll :'D
Vielleicht könnt ihr ja irgendwann mal eine Aufgabe ohne Coloration rausbringen, das hat auch seinen charme.
Ich selber fand einige comicseiten, die ich coloriert habe, ohne coloration besser als mit.

Tja, das ist leider die Sache bei Comics - das rein künstlerische des Zeichners kommt halt oft besser unverfälscht durch- leider ist sowas dann nur bedingt markttauglich, bzw. ists dann halt oft einfach noch kein "Endprodukt". Kaufe mir tendeziell ja auch lieber Farbcomics- du kannst einfach noch mehr Stimmung erzeugen, es gefühlt realistischer machen. Aber nebenbei noch so reine pencil- oder ink Ausgaben wären schon was feines.

Du hast mal Comicseiten coloriert? Was verlegtes oder nebenbei?

Ja du hast natürlich recht, und es gibt ja genug Beispiele von Coloristen die fantastische Arbeit leisten (muss ich dir ja nicht sagen

). Ich kann mich an ein paar Comic von Simon Bisley erinnern, die waren durch die Coloration ziemlich verkorkst :< (dabei mag ich den ziemlich gern)
Ich hab auch mal comic coloriert, also schon per Auftrag. Aber ich kann nicht so richtig sagen, ob sie jetzt verlegt sind oder nicht (sind jordanische comics) Ich muss mal nachfragen ob ich paar Seiten zeigen darf :3

You did this with Mangastudios.. wow.. first.. I have it.. a friend got it for my birthday.. but I havent had time to try it out.. I looked at it and got kinda scared.. is it hard to use? Love this layout.. and nice space for talk bubbles and the angles are nice too. love the Inking style too ^^
